The Brief

Set design for H&M's campaign in collaboration with Vogue, featuring Vera Brezhneva. The story: nature reclaiming an abandoned space. First a few stems. Then plants. Then flowers and greenery taking over the entire environment — a visual manifesto for H&M's sustainability initiatives.

The Challenge

The concept required a set that needed to feel genuinely alive — not dressed, not styled, but grown. The progression from bare to abundant had to read as inevitable, organic, real. Fabric, flora, and empty space had to coexist in a single environment that told a story across multiple frames without the narrative ever being stated.

The Approach

Designed the set as a living installation in progression — beginning with almost nothing and layering botanical elements until the space was completely consumed by growth. Every plant, flower, and surface was chosen and placed to reinforce the feeling of nature doing what nature does: taking back what was abandoned. The set had to carry the campaign's message on its own, before Vera stepped into frame.

The Outcome

Campaign shot in Moscow with Vera Brezhneva for H&M and Vogue. Deployed across H&M's Russian and CIS channels as part of the brand's sustainability communications.
