The Brief
Set design for Harvey Nichols Dubai's seasonal campaign — shot entirely aboard the Queen Victoria 2, docked in Dubai as a floating hotel. The art director's reference: Wes Anderson. Symmetry, colour, playfulness, the feeling that every frame is a film still.



The Challenge
A cruise ship is not a studio. The spaces are fixed, the light is what it is, and nothing can be moved or dressed from scratch. The assignment was to find the right locations within the ship — corridors, lounges, staircases, dining rooms — that already carried the visual logic the campaign needed, and then elevate them to match the brief without losing what made them cinematic in the first place.






The Approach
Worked through the ship location by location, reading each space for its symmetry, its colour temperature, its natural composition. The set design work was about precision of placement and restraint — knowing what to add, what to remove, and where to stand. Every frame was found, not fabricated.
The Outcome
Campaign deployed across Harvey Nichols Dubai's full communications — digital channels, in-store print, and storewide across the Dubai location.
